Straight answers
Can we update the site ourselves afterwards?
Yes, that is the point. You get a CMS your team can use, a walkthrough at handover, and documentation. If a section is too complex for day-to-day editing, we will say so during scoping rather than at handover.
Who owns the code and the hosting?
You do. Source code, hosting account, DNS, and analytics are registered in your name. That is deliberate: it means changing developer later is a decision, not a hostage negotiation.
How long does a build take?
A corporate site is usually several weeks; a custom web application is longer and depends on integrations. The schedule is written at scoping with content and approval responsibilities named, because late content is the most common cause of delay.
Will it rank on Google?
We build the technical foundations: fast pages, clean structure, correct metadata, and measurable Core Web Vitals. Ranking also depends on content, competition, and ongoing work. We will tell you what the technical work can and cannot achieve rather than promising a position.
