24/7 IT Support
A skilled helpdesk on call around the clock. Tickets answered by engineers who know your environment, not a script reader following a decision tree.
This is usually when we get the call
- Tickets get closed without anyone confirming the problem was actually fixed
- Nobody can name who is on call tonight if the server fails
- Your team keeps a private WhatsApp group because the official channel is too slow
- Recurring faults get re-opened month after month with no root cause
Engineers who already know your environment
The value of a helpdesk is not the ticket queue, it is whether the person answering already understands how your business runs. We document your environment during onboarding, so the engineer picking up your call is not starting from zero every time.
- Named engineers assigned to your account
- Environment documented and kept current
- Escalation paths agreed up front, not improvised
Proactive work, not just ticket-taking
Reactive support alone means you only hear from us when something is already broken. Patching, monitoring and alerting are part of the service, so a failing disk or an expiring certificate is handled before it becomes an outage.
- Patch management with staged rollouts
- Monitoring and alerting on critical systems
- Monthly service reporting you can actually read

From first call to steady state
- 01
Onboarding
We inventory your environment, accounts, and current pain points, then document them.
Typically 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how much is undocumented. - 02
Transition
We shadow your existing arrangements, take over the ticket queue, and agree escalation paths.
Run in parallel rather than a hard cutover, so nothing is dropped. - 03
Steady state
Tickets answered around the clock, with patching and monitoring running in the background.
Response targets and escalation rules agreed in writing up front. - 04
Review
Monthly reporting on ticket volume, recurring issues, and what we changed.
Anything trending badly gets a plan, not just a chart.
A day in the life of your ticket
9:12 am — your bookkeeper reports Xero will not open. The ticket is logged, classified P1, and assigned to an engineer who already has your environment documented. 9:20 am — remote session starts; a failed update has broken the licence service. 9:41 am — licence repaired, bookkeeper confirms she can work, and a note is filed so the next person finds it faster. 2:05 pm — the warning that surfaced during the session goes onto the patching list for the next maintenance window. Month-end — the report shows the ticket category, what changed, and what it cost in downtime (zero, this time).
Nothing dramatic — that is the point. The boring version is the one where nothing escalates.
Scope, spelled out
- Round-the-clock helpdesk via phone, email, chat, and portal
- Remote-first response with on-site escalation when hardware fails
- Named engineers who learn your environment instead of starting cold
- Ticket SLAs with escalation paths and monthly service reporting
- Proactive patching, monitoring, and alerting included
- After-hours coverage for critical systems and month-end crunch
How support requests are handled
Every request becomes a ticket with a number, a named engineer and an agreed first-response target. Nothing lives only in an inbox or a chat thread where it can be forgotten.
- Targets are first qualified response, not fix-time promises nobody can honestly make at 2am
- After-hours P1/P2: the on-call engineer is paged directly — no inbox monitoring, no "check in the morning"
- Exact targets are set per client in writing, based on which systems you mark business-critical
Before the first call
- A named internal contact who can approve changes
- Access to existing systems and admin credentials during onboarding
- A list of who counts as a priority user, and which systems are business-critical
- Your current support arrangements, so handover does not leave a gap
Most delays in any engagement trace back to access, decisions, or content. Naming these up front is what keeps a project on schedule.
Straight answers
What does ‘around the clock’ actually mean for a small business?
It means the helpdesk is staffed and reachable at any hour, and that critical systems are monitored continuously. It does not mean every issue is fixed at 3am: the response target is a first qualified response, and a fix depends on what is wrong. We agree in writing which systems count as critical so the after-hours rules are not guesswork.
Do you replace our existing IT person?
Usually not. Most clients have one internal person who knows the business, and we handle the volume, the after-hours, and the specialist work. Many of our best relationships are a single internal coordinator plus our team behind them.
How do you learn our environment?
Onboarding includes inventory and documentation that we keep current. Tickets carry that history, so the second call about a printer is faster than the first. You receive the documentation as a deliverable, not as our private notes.
What happens if we are not happy with response times?
They are written into the agreement with escalation paths, and reviewed monthly against actual ticket data. If the numbers are not being met, the conversation is about the data, not about impressions.
How is pricing structured?
Per-user or per-device monthly pricing depending on your setup, quoted after a short scoping call — we do not quote blind, because the difference between 15 and 45 endpoints changes the number.
Is there a lock-in period?
Terms are agreed in writing before any work starts — ask us directly on the call. The documentation we build during onboarding is yours to keep either way.
What is included vs extra?
Helpdesk, patching, monitoring, alerting and monthly reporting are part of the service. Hardware, licences and third-party software are billed at cost with the invoice attached — you see what we pay.
What good handover looks like
- Every credential and licence listed, with ownership transferred — no shared passwords living in a spreadsheet
- Documentation rebuilt during onboarding as a deliverable, not guessed at as we go
- Your current IT person or supplier treated with respect — access is coordinated, never ambushed
- The first 30 days run in parallel with your existing arrangement, so nothing falls through the gap

Who this is for
Teams of roughly 10–100 people with real systems — Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, a server or two, maybe a shop floor — and nobody whose actual job is watching them.
Businesses where one internal person carries all of IT and deserves backup, not a replacement. We handle the volume, the after-hours and the specialist work behind them.
Anyone shopping for zero-involvement "fully hands-off" support. It does not exist — an IT partner still needs a decision-maker on your side, and a supplier promising otherwise is selling you a queue.
